It is a rainy and cool spring day today so I'm turning on the lights to work on some more Halloween figures' heads. I was able to get some face sculpting done yesterday and I thought I would share them with you...two little gourds and one pumpkin boy with a "Pee Wee" Herman stem. That dates me, doesn't it?!
Off to go mix some paper mache clay and get my fingers back into the mess. Sort of like making mud pies.
Have a great and creative day!
Laurie
Is it still rainy and cool? Yesterday was such a nice spring rain... for all the plants I planted ~
ReplyDeleteToday is gorgeous! I love your guys even non painted!
: ) Pattee
Still rainy and cool...currently 54degrees. Great weather for the Christmas trees planted in April, so I'm not complaining, plus it is good studio working weather... Nothing to distract me to go outside!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Pattee!
Pee Wee who??? ;)~ I'm just fooling I remember that character.
ReplyDeleteYour new work looks cool! I like the grins. Are the small circular pieces in the foreground going to be pails?
Those are their Halloween buckets all pinched into nice little cylinder forms!
ReplyDeleteHi Laurie! We finally got a sunny day today, and it was warm! Very hard to work on art when it is so lovely outside. :) Your new crop is so cute - I love seeing them before you paint them. Happy Thursday! xo Pam
ReplyDeleteGood for you Pam. Tomorrow we are suppose to take a 30 degree jump--we are in the yo-yo season temperature wise. Painting on the big gourd in the background today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
