I took a few days off last week to head to Kearney, Missouri, to attend my brother-in-law's retirement party. It was great fun and we are so glad we made the trip to wish him our best in this new phase of his life. Congratulations Keith!
The reality of our world was that we needed to come home and get back to work. Below is "Lil' Chucky Chimp", a small fellow that I completed this week for the upcoming Ghoultide Gathering show in Chelsea, Michigan, on October 5 and 6. I know it sounds like months away, but honestly, if I don't kick it in gear and work like crazy the next 6 months I won't have much of an inventory for the show.
And so begins my big push on Halloween work!! I see many cups of coffee and paper mache clay batches in the hopper in the coming weeks (months)! Awe, the smell of ghouls and goblins in the studio...come to think of it, not so good! HA!
Have a great weekend!
Laurie
