Oh dear, I had to get a new camera last night because my antique wouldn't produce images with enough dpi for printing so I have spent the entire day photographing work. I went from 1.6 on my old camera to 12.1 megapixels (huge difference), and it was a pretty easy learning curve and transition regarding the new camera's operations. Sadly, I had to give up my floppy disks....I think I was due for an update!!
This is Salvador Squash...does he look crisp? (Please tell me yes even if you can't tell!)
Tomorrow I have to get to the studio... I hear little creatures begging for some paint!!
Have a great weekend!

Salvador looks very "crisp" and most excellent!
Salvator is stellar! Oh so amazing and nothing short of exquisite. Have fun with your new toy. A 12.1 upgrade from 1.6 whew... Luckily your characters are always ready for a close up :}
Laurie, Salvador Squash is divine. Love him!
Wow! Floppy disks. I haven't used them in a long time. I used to have an old Sony camera that used floppy disks.
Good luck with your new camera. I thought I was stylin' with an 8 megapixel, but you have me beat.
Enjoy your weekend.
1.6?? That's crazy! I'm glad you upgraded , the new pic looks wonderful:)
Crisp!!!
He is awesome!!!
Oh, goodie, a new toy for you!!!
And by the way, he looks great Laurie, and if you ever want a tad bit crisper look, you can choose the "sharpen" option in your graphics editing program. If you work in layers, just sharpen the top layer and then fade it back to 50% over the original image, and you'll get a sharper look.....
Have fun with your new camera and with that paint!

Thanks Deb,Melissa,Jen, Liz, Suz and Johanna!
Yes, I went from a Sony Mavica that used floppy disks to something a tad more advanced. Much to learn yet on the camera, but I have to say that I am happy so far with the image quality. Well, I mean really, I was working with a camera that I purchased in 2000 for hubby and technology has changed a bit, but it still works so I just needed the nudge! Darn practical area of the country I come from!
I had to laugh Johanna...you assumed I have an editing program!!! HA! The camera came with a transfer program with rotation and a few other little things, but no graphics program.
Sigh!!
GIRL!!! ~ Floppy discs!!! LOL '-P)
Thanks 4 stopping by and wishing you a lovely weekend as well. Don't sculpt too hard. '-)
XOXO

What's a floppy disk? Welcome to the 21st century...your new camera takes great pics but I like the work itself!
Wonderful as always, Laurie! Yes, he is crisp. I am not that far behind you with the camera....mine is only a 2.0 HA!
But now floppy disks, have not used those for years. Don't you hate learning all this techno stuff. Gives me a headache. LOL
Have a great day and have fun learning.

Yes he does look very crisp, I'm crisp with jealousy! There are many free graphic programs that would allow you to edit your photos. Irfanview is great for sizing or cropping plus many, many other options. Just Google.
Laurie, I can't believe you had the same camera: the Sony Mavica. I had the same camera until it died on me several years ago. Thank goodness because it forced me to get a new camera. I can relate to the practicality issue.
Darn it. They've already given you a hard time with the floppy disk. :) I wanted to be the first. He's as crisp as possible, and my all time favorite.
And thanks for the information! xo PJ
He's fabulous Laurie!!! As is everything you put your hands 2!
Yes baby chicks are cute!!!
And I think I'm getting 2 baby ducks next week!!!
Hugs to you
Crisp as a potato chip! He is fabulous! Have fun with your learning curve. ;0 xox Pam
