Wow, woke up this morning and it was cool, dark and rainy with a high of 70 degrees forecast and a low of 45 tonight...I think fall may come to us early this year!!!! We will still get some late summer temps, but I have to say that this has been one summer of strange weather here for us on the Plains.
We had high winds over the weekend, but it didn't prevent us from having a great time and drinking some margaritas and wine at the 2 barbeques we attended. We have some of the best friends and neighbors and feel blessed for our good fortune in having these relations in our lives. I still managed to get a few things painted between the evening festivities, but will have to wait for better light to take photos worth posting later today.

Glad to have you back Laurie! Sounds like you had a wonderful time over the weekend...we did too...very relaxing.
Now it is back to work...fun work though...Don't you just love seeing pieces come to life?!
